Output 1.5 – Innovative registration schemes involving other relevant government partners and national partners such as CAMFEBA and trade unions is piloted

Description

For Output 1.5, the ILO together with an appointed NGO with extensive experience working with informal workers in Cambodia towork on the design and the piloting of schemes or mehanisms that involves registration of workers into social security programmes through collaboration and sharing of data between key government and national partners such as General Department of Taxation, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Interior and social partners such as CAMFEBA, Trade Unions and licensing bodies. This will include activities such as joint workshops and technical assistance to implement these schemes and to facilitate data sharing across organisations. Activities under this output will also include piloting of the new registration mechanism for specific sectors that are designed in Output 1.2. This will be done in collaboration with ongoing initiatives conducted by civil society partners by extending to sectors such as tourism and construction where there are high levels of informal employment.
