In 2016 the Government of Pakistan launched the Social Protection Management Information System (SPMIS).

Outcome achieved

In 2016 the Government of Pakistan launched the Social Protection Management Information System (SP–MIS). The aim is to develop a database responsive to the needs of beneficiaries (on the demand side) as well as to fulfil the requirements of social protection service providers (on the supply side) for increased access to services, enhanced service delivery and evidence-based decision making.

ILO's contribution to the outcome

The ILO, with RBSA resources [PAK/16/01/RBS], technically supported the design of the SP–MIS.
