Outcome summary

Greek National Actuarial Authority (NAA) undertook actuarial valuation of the Pension System for the Social Insurance Institute  General Employees Insurance Fund (IKA-ETAM), the Organization for the Insurance of Liberal Professionals (OAEE), the Agricultural Insurance Organization (OGA) and the Pension System for the Public Sector in 2010.

Outcome achieved

Greek National Actuarial Authority (NAA) undertook actuarial valuation of the Pension System for the Social Insurance Institute – General Employees’ Insurance Fund (IKA-ETAM), the Organization for the Insurance of Liberal Professionals (OAEE), the Agricultural Insurance Organization (OGA) and the Pension System for the Public Sector in 2010. Actuarial valuation submitted to Cabinet and Parliament, published and made available to the social partners, as well as the wider public).

ILO's contribution to the outcome

Provided actuarial assistance to the National Actuarial Authority of Greece (NAA) to conduct the actuarial study, undertook peer review of the valuation, and provided actuarial capacity building of NAA staff.
