The adopted New Social Security Law No. 1 of the Year 2014 allowed
Jordan to strive towards the extension of social security coverage to the
whole population, with special emphasis on the excluded categories
allowing voluntary affiliation for stay-at home women and students. A big
part of women are benefiting from the new social security law.
