Outcome achieved

A National tripartite social protection floor advisory board was established in May 2012 and became operational as of August 2016. The board is tripartite and includes members of UN agencies in Jordan, among others UNDP, WHO, UNICEF, WFP, UNFPA, ILO, FAO, UNWOMEN.

ILO's contribution to the outcome

The ILO supported the creation of the advisory board by developing the terms of reference, establishing a first draft of the road map for implementation of a national SPF and collaborating with the Ministry team to organize the first meeting of the board in August 2016.
