Employment injury schemes and the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases in Myanmar
On February 9-13, 2015 the International Training Centre of the ILO and the ILO Liaison Office in Myanmar held a training course on “Employment injury schemes and the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases” at the ILO office in Yangon. The training aimed at guiding key actors in the national governance of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and in the planning and implementation of work injury social insurance schemes. Participants representing relevant ministries, worker and employers organizations and development partners attended the training.
