Vers la ratification de la convention n° 102 de l'OIT.

ILO, Action/Portugal

In Dili, Timor-Leste, the International Labour Organization's (ILO) Social Protection Department conducted a series of capacity-building activities from 11 to 13 March 2024. The primary objective was to enhance the capacities of tripartite constituents concerning international social security standards.

At the core of the workshop was the presentation of preliminary findings from a comparative report assessing Timor-Leste's social security legislation against the minimum requirements and principles set out in the Social Security (Minimum Standards) Convention, 1952 (No. 102).

The tripartite validation workshop convened government officials, employers' and workers' representatives, who endorsed the report conclusions. Additionally, the tripartite partners agreed upon a strategic roadmap towards the ratification and effective implementation of Convention No. 102.
