ITC ILO Turin in partnership with ILO DWT-Bangkok & ILO SEC SOC STEP, Geneva co-organised the workshop “Social Protection Floor rapid assessment, costing and design: from tools and methodology to practical implementation” from Monday 15 to Friday 19 November 2010, at Seminar Room 1, UNESCAP Learning Centre, United Nations Conference Center (UNCC), Rajdamnern Nok Ave., Bangkok 10200.
The workshop was designed fo national counterparts from relevant ministries and provincial governments involved in the design, costing, and implementation of the social protection floor of Indonesia, Thailand, Viet Nam, Cambodia and Lao PDR, as well as ILO and other UN agencies staff based in the Asia & the Pacific region.
The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Hiroshi Yamabana, Actuary, ILO-SEC SOC Geneva, Mrs. Valerie Schmitt, Social Security Specialist, ILO DWT-Bangkok, and Ms. Celine Felix, Social Protection Expert, ILO DWT-Bangkok.
This workspace is dedicated to the rapid assessment workshop to share the presentations made by the facilitators, and for all participants to share ideas, information, and experiences discussed during the training.
