The programme aims to support countries in improving their social protection systems with a particular emphasis on ensuring adequate and sustainable financing. ILO, UNICEF, members of the Global Coalition for Social Protection Floors and EU delegations will jointly implement activities in 8 priority countries, namely Angola, Burkina-Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Nepal, Paraguay, Senegal and Uganda and will identify further partner countries to collaborate with. The project is currently in its inception phase and the implementation phase will start as of 1 April 2020.
